IIC Announced Fitraana Amount For Ramadan 2025
The Islamic Ideological Council (IIC) of Pakistan has set the minimum Fitrana for Ramadan 2025 at 220 PKR. Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, announced this amount while discussing Fitrana and Roza Hadiya for Ramadan 2025. He further explained that for those who choose to give Fitrana based on foods other than wheat, such as dates, raisins, and dried apricots, the amount will differ. For example:

Fitraana is also known as Sadaqat-ul-Fitr, is a complementary charitable donation for every financially capable Muslim at the end of Ramadan. Fitraana must be paid before the Eid prayer and if you can, then you should give more than the minimum amount to support the less fortunate people.
Dr. Raghib Naeemi also discussed the details of fidya in depth and mentioned the amounts of fidya based on different types of food, such as:

Fidya is an Islamic donation given when a person can not fast during the holy month of Ramadan due to valid reasons, such as:
- Old age or frailty
- Severe illness
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
