How to Cancel a Foodpanda Order

Sometimes plans change, and you might need to cancel your Foodpanda order.
When Can You Cancel a Foodpanda Order?
You can cancel your order easily if the vendor has not yet accepted it. But once the vendor accepts the order, cancellation becomes trickier & there may be consequences.
- If the Vendor Has NOT Accepted the Order:
- You can cancel without any issues.
- If the Vendor HAS Accepted the Order:
- You may lose the delivery fee.
- Cash-on-delivery (COD) might be removed as a future payment option.
- Refund eligibility will depend on the status of your order and Foodpanda’s policies.
How to Cancel a Foodpanda Order:
- Open the Foodpanda App or Website:
- Log in to your account.
- Check Order Status:
- Go to your current orders and see if the vendor has accepted them.
- Cancel the Order:
- If the order is still pending and hasn’t been accepted, click the “Cancel” button.
- If the Order is Accepted:
- You can still request cancellation, but refund policies and delivery fees may apply.
Understanding Foodpanda Refunds:
If your cancellation is approved, your refund process depends on the payment method you used:
- Pandapay Account: Refunds go here by default for credit card, debit card, or cash-on-delivery orders.
- Original Payment Method: If you use a different payment method (like a digital wallet), the refund will go back to that method.
