USA Engulfed In Flames Once Again, 17 Square Kilometers Burned To Ashes

A massive wildfire that caused destruction in Los Angeles, California, has now shifted its path towards South Carolina. According to international media reports, rescue teams are struggling to contain the raging wildfire in North and South Carolina due to dry conditions and strong winds, forcing people to evacuate.

The National Weather Service has issued a warning about the increasing fire risk in the region due to low humidity. Reports indicate that the devastating fire in South Carolina has already burned down 6.6 square miles (17 square kilometers) of land. In response, Governor Henry McMaster declared a state of emergency and forced a statewide ban on open fires to avoid further damage.

According to Horry County Fire Rescue, firefighting teams have made progress in controlling the fire near Carolina Forest, west of the coastal city Myrtle Beach, where residents were ordered to evacuate. Videos from the scene show people running on the streets, but as of yesterday, the fire department announced that evacuated residents could return home.

It is worth stating that wildfires in Los Angeles have caused massive destruction in the past, leaving many Hollywood celebrities’ homes in ruins and forcing large-scale evacuations.
