Big Decrease Is Expected In Petrol Prices From 16 March 2025
There is a possibility of a big decrease of up to 12 rupees in petroleum prices starting from March 16. Tariq Wazir Ali, Chairman of OMPA (Oil Marketing Companies Association), stated in a media conversation that the price of MSD (Petrol) may decrease by 8 rupees, while the price of HSD (Diesel) could drop by 12 rupees.
In the global market, the price of crude oil has hit its lowest level in the last 4 years, currently recorded at $67 per barrel.
Current Fuel Rates:
- High Speed Diesel (HSD): PKR 258.63
- Petrol: PKR 255.59
New Rates (Estimated)
- High Speed Diesel (HSD): PKR 246.63
- Petrol: PKR 247.59
Effective Date:
The new rates will be applicable from 16 March 2025.
