Elon Musk’s AI ChatBot GROK 3 Is Launching

As of 14 February 2025, Elon Musk announced, “Our new AI chatbot, Grok 3, will launch in a week or two.” He further stated that their new AI chatbot will be much more powerful and easier to use compared to ChatGPT and other AI models.

He added, “In all the tests we have conducted so far, it has delivered results 10 times faster and more accurate than ChatGPT. Our new AI model will leave ChatGPT far behind.”

Musk describes Grok 3 as “scary-smart,” highlighting its advanced reasoning capabilities, which reportedly surpass existing chatbots like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

In addition to its advanced reasoning, Grok 3 is expected to feature a unique tone in its responses, described by xAI as having “a bit of wit” and “a rebellious streak.” This design choice aims to make interactions more engaging and less formal compared to traditional chatbots.

Earlier this week, Elon Musk also made a $100 billion offer to OpenAI to acquire ChatGPT. However, OpenAI responded that they do not wish to sell their shares and instead want to turn it into a for-profit organization.
