Gaddafi Stadium New Look Photos Capacity & Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony of Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore, will be held on February 7, 2025, with the special participation of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. This colorful ceremony will be attended by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, former cricketers, politicians, and ministers.
New Look and Features
The new look of Qaddafi Stadium is absolutely magnificent. For the first time in the world, the latest LED lights have been installed in the cricket stadium. The old screen has been replaced with two new LED screens. Additionally, new-style chairs have been installed, and most importantly, the VIP boxes have been given a fresh new look. This cricket stadium will now be one of the most modern cricket stadiums in the world.
Who will perform in Gaddafi Stadium’s Opening Ceremony?
Many famous Pakistani artists will perform at this vibrant event, including singers Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, and Arif Lohar. Additionally, the special highlight is that from 5 PM onwards, Qaddafi Stadium will be open to the general public, and anyone can attend the opening ceremony without a ticket.
Remarkable Achievement by PCB
Qaddafi Stadium has been specially rebuilt to host the Champions Trophy 2025 matches, and the most remarkable aspect is that the stadium was reconstructed in just 117 days, which is a significant achievement for the PCB. This opening ceremony is being held one day before the Tri-Nation Series.
Increased Seating Capacity
After the renovation of Qaddafi Stadium, its seating capacity has been increased. Previously, its capacity was 21,500, which has now been increased to 34,000.
