Kane Williamson To Lead London Spirits In The Hundred 2025 Edition
Williamson has been named captain of London Spirit in the 2025 edition of The Hundred. New Zealand’s legendary batter Kane Williamson has signed contracts with Middlesex and London Spirit for the 2025 cricketing summer in England.
He becomes the first direct overseas signing in the men’s competition. The experienced leader will bring his tactical brilliance to the tournament.
Participation in T20 Blast & County Championship
- Middlesex Contract: Williamson will play for Middlesex in the T20 Blast and County Championship.
- He will feature in at least 10 out of 14 T20 Blast group matches.
- The star batter is also set to play a minimum of five County Championship matches in the latter half of the season.
“We’re thrilled to have Kane on board for this summer. For us to be able to make a direct signing of this caliber is truly exciting for London Spirit, and I am sure that he will be looking forward to captaining our talented side,” said Fraser Stewart, London Spirit’s general manager.
The Kiwi batter expressed his enthusiasm, stating:
