People Died In USA Due To Severe Weather Conditions And Flooding

According to foreign media reports, 8 people have died in the state of Kentucky due to heavy rain and flooding. Severe cold weather in various states of the United States has claimed the lives of at least 9 people.
The governor of Kentucky stated that most of the deaths occurred because vehicles were submerged in floodwaters. On Sunday, hundreds of people trapped in the floods were rescued. He also mentioned that 39,000 consumers are without electricity due to the storm.
Meanwhile, the northern and central regions of the United States are experiencing extreme cold weather.
The weather department has issued a warning, stating that snowstorms are likely in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and an alert has been issued. In New York, strong winds are expected.
In Minnesota, temperatures are predicted to drop to between -40°C and -45°C.
It is also worth noting that large parts of Canada are facing heavy snowfall, leading to the cancellation of over 150 flights.
