Ramadan Gas Load-Shedding Plan

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has shared its Ramadan gas load-shedding schedule.

🔹 No gas from 9 AM to 3 PM & 10 PM to 3 AM
🔹 Uninterrupted supply during Sehr & Iftar

Pakistan’s gas reserves are shrinking by 8-10% annually, and they may drop by half by 2027, SSGC warned. To tackle this, the company is working on biogas, nitrogen, and coal-based gas production.

Ramadan Moon Sighting Update 🌙

According to SPARCO, the new Ramadan moon will appear on Feb 28 at 5:45 PM (PST), but seeing it will be difficult due to its low position.

🔹 Pakistan: Ramadan likely starts on March 2, 2025
🔹 Saudi Arabia: Crescent may be visible on Feb 28, possibly starting Ramadan on March 1, 2025
